Intruder alarm maintenance

Keep your intruder alarm properly serviced and tested to ensure your property's continued security

It’s vital to have a regular maintenance programme for your intruder alarm system to ensure it’s all working correctly and to reduce false alarms.

About our maintenance packages for intruder alarms

Every one of our installations can be backed up by a maintenance package. We can also take over maintenance of an existing burglar alarm system that we didn't fit. Because our engineers are fully qualified and trained in a wide range of intruder alarm products, you can trust us to ensure your equipment meets current guidelines and that faults and issues will be pre-empted.

We've graded our alarm maintenance packages into three options, tailored to your security system requirements and budget:

What's included? Bronze Silver Gold*
All parts covered (except batteries)
One emergency call out per year
Two maintenance visits per year for monitored alarms, one visit per year for bell-only systems
Key-holder updating
Technical helpdesk telephone support
Remote reset facility (monitored alarms)
Full report of engineers visit by email, fax or letter
Special contract call-out fee, 30% off list price
24/7 response, 365 days a year
Direct Debit payment plan
* Our Gold maintenance package is only available on systems installed or upgraded by Chris Lewis Fire & Security within the past three years.

We can also work with you to provide a bespoke intruder alarm maintenance solution if you have specific service levels which need to be met.

Remote servicing of intruder alarms

Where your intruder alarm is connected to a telephone line, we can carry out remote diagnostics and servicing. This dramatically improves the speed and efficiency of our alarm maintenance service as we can invariably fix problems without the need to dispatch an engineer to your site.

The highest standards in alarm maintenance

We only use equipment of the highest quality, and all of our systems meet the requirements set out in the British and European Standards DD243 and the ACPO Policy. We are members of the Electrical Contractors Associations (ECA), Security Systems & Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB) and the National Security Inspectorate (NSI).
