As part of our continued expansion, Chris Lewis Fire & Security has announced its latest appointment. Alan Jones joins the company as Business Development Manager in a strategic move to develop our IP product range and to expand our market penetration.
Since we were established in 1993 we have achieved an enviable reputation for security installations that combine the very latest technology with innovative IT solutions. Alan, who is an experienced security consultant with a strong video, access control and CCTV background, will be responsible for working with our IT department in developing our IP product range with particular focus on CCTV and access control.
Alan brings with him extensive experience of security solutions, as well as previous involvement with Chris Lewis Fire & Security. For ten years he ran one of Dedicated Micros group companies that specialised in developing software for image capturing devices for the freight industry. He has also worked as an independent security consultant for a variety of installers including Chris Lewis Fire & Security and has recently completed two years running the technology division of a service company in the oil sector in Libya.
Alan comments, "Having been involved with Chris Lewis Fire & Security previously, I am aware of how innovative and forward thinking the company is. The IP arena is really coming to the fore and Chris' move three years ago to invest in an IT department put him streets ahead of the competition. CCTV and access control are both converging onto IP platforms and my experience in these fields combined with their existing IT skills will really help to develop the company's IP product range."
