We know that our people are our greatest asset. That's why we're extremely proud to have passed our reassessment and been awarded the Investors in People status again.
We were first awarded Investors In People four years ago and have worked extremely hard to ensure we met the programme's new tougher criteria. With the help of Wendy Gray, our HR consultant, both Chris Lewis Security and our sister company, Prestige Fire Protection passed the reassessment with flying colours.
Here's what our assessor, had to say in his report: "The success in integrating Prestige into Chris Lewis Security is impressive. Morale at Prestige is very high and all people there believe that they understand where the company is going and that they have a vital part in helping it on that journey. People reported that they felt trusted and very well supported. They also felt that they were now part of a very professional organisation and were proud of this. In such a short time the progress made is remarkable."
We were so encouraged by the report that we've nominated ourselves to become an Investors in People Champion. Only a limited number of companies achieve this status, but if we do, we'll be able to promote the benefits of the programme and encourage other companies to invest in their people.
