Our apprentice engineers are celebrating a fantastic result at this year's Apprentice Skills Challenge.
The annual national event took
place at IFSEC 2007 at Birmingham's NEC, and required pairs of apprentices to carry out a fault-finding exercise before recommissioning an existing security system in line with EN standards. Points were allocated against various disciplines.
This year the company entered two second year apprentices and three first year apprentices into the Challenge. Our first year team certainly did us proud with Kyle Spears and Ashley Keenan placed second overall on the day. Not only was it an extremely close contest, but the team that came first were third year apprentices. This is our best result ever in the Apprentice Skills Challenge. Congratulations go to Kyle and Ashley and to all those who took part on behalf of Chris Lewis Fire & Security.
