Chris Lewis Fire & Security has been selected as a finalist in the Innovation category of this year's Thames Valley Business Awards.
The Awards are a highly prestigious event and are open to businesses throughout the Thames Valley. This is the first year that we have entered the competition. The Innovation category is one of seven award categories and is sponsored by Slough Trading Estate.
Finalists in the Innovation category will be measured on innovative skills, drive and commitment, as well as their business environment and strategic partnerships. The judges commented, "Business success is not just down to an individual's innovative skills, drive and commitment, it also depends on the business environment they operate in and the partnerships that environment generates." Winners will be announced at a glittering gala dinner at the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre on the 22nd November.
Chris Lewis, our Managing Director commented, "The Thames Valley Business Awards are a high profile event. To reach the finals in the Innovation category is a fantastic achievement. Previous winners of the category have included the likes of O2 and Integralis, and we're up against some tough competition this year. As a business we are committed to being innovative in our installations, our processes and our customer service. This award recognises our endeavours and we are thrilled that we have been selected as a finalist in this prestigious event."
Only two weeks ago, we were awarded 'Best Security Installer (large)' at the 2007 Security Excellence Awards. We have been a finalist in the annual security industry awards for the last four years and last year we won the 'Best IT Initiative' category. We have also been a finalist in the Oxfordshire Business Awards for the last two years.
