New fire system for Draper Tools

Draper Tools trusts Chris Lewis Fire & Security to protect its new warehouse

Chris Lewis Fire & Security has just installed a comprehensive new fire system for Draper Tools.

Draper Tool's new 100,000 square foot warehouse in North Baddesley, Hampshire provides an ultra-modern facility from which the family-run tool wholesaler can ship its products. The company required the building to be protected by a system that would provide the earliest possible warning of fire, but that would cover the whole site through a single panel.

The contract was put out to tender, and Chris Lewis Fire & Security beat off the competition with its innovative design which incorporated VESDA aspirating detection - a system which constantly samples the air for even the smallest smoke particles. David Smith of Drapers comments, "We've been incredibly impressed with the service from Chris Lewis Fire & Security. The fire protection solution they designed is excellent and we benefitted from seeing it demonstrated at another client's site. They took the time to really understand our requirements - any questions we've had have been answered within hours, and problems have been resolved the same day. You couldn't ask for more."
