Chris Lewis Fire & Security has been shortlisted for the Active Fire Safety Installation Award at this year's Fire Excellence Awards.
The Fire Excellence Awards celebrate the best products, services and individuals in the fire safety industry. Held every two years, the awards coincide with International Firex - Europe's leading fire safety event - which is organised in association with the Fire Industry Association (FIA).
The Active Fire Safety Installation category at the Fire Excellence Awards is open to any company installing, commissioning, maintaining, and servicing fire detection and alarm systems, fixed fire suppression systems, portable fire extinguishers and any other active fire protection equipment. The judges look for evidence of good design and installation practices and base their decisions on case evidence of success in areas such as customer satisfaction and overcoming challenges during installations.

The winners of the 2011 Fire Excellence Awards will be announced at a gala dinner at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel on Tuesday 17 May.
