All CCTV or surveillance system users must be trained in accordance with the 'Code of Practice & Operating Procedure'. Guidelines must be followed in the storage of CCTV recorded devices and recorded data. CCTV systems have to regularly checked and serviced, and have a maintenance log book. For possible police use, CCTV images need to be clear and carry information such as date and time.
